Exterior Stucco Painting in Simi Valley, CA: 1-Week Full Exterior Refresh

Project Description

A 3,732 square foot, two-story home in Simi Valley got a full exterior repaint in one week. This exterior stucco painting in Simi Valley, CA covered the stucco walls, pop-ups, fascia, eaves, front door, garage doors, gutters, and patio in a single project. Stucco homes here face strong sun and dry heat year after year. Over time, that exposure can fade color and wear down trim, doors, and metal finishes. It helps to know what a full repaint involves before you commit.

Martin Carabajal Painting painted every listed surface in one week for about $12,000. The crew used Dunn-Edwards EVERSHIELD, an exterior coating designed to resist fading and sun damage. Martin Carabajal Painting has painted homes and businesses across Ventura County since 2000, completing more than 2,000 projects.

Project Scope: Exterior Stucco Painting in Simi Valley, CA

This project covered every painted surface on the outside of the home.

Stucco Walls

The largest surface was the home’s stucco body. Stucco painting takes care because the rough texture has many small ridges and pockets. Paint has to reach into all of them to cover evenly.

Pop-Ups

The raised pop-up details on the home were painted as their own step. They frame the home’s shape, so clean, even edges show from the street.

Fascia and Eaves

The fascia boards and eaves run along the roofline, where they take direct sun. The crew painted both so the roof edge matches the fresh finish of the walls below.

Front Door

The front door was painted as part of the same project. It is the first thing guests see up close, so it got its own dedicated step.

Gutters

The gutters were painted too. That way, the metal along the roofline matches the fresh fascia beside it.

Garage Doors

Garage door painting matters here. The garage doors take up a large share of the view from the street.

Patio

Patio painting was also part of this job, so the outdoor living space got attention along with the main walls.

Martin Carabajal Painting follows a day-by-day process on every exterior: prep and repairs first, then coats of paint, then trim and detail work, then cleanup and a final walkthrough. The same crew stays on the job from start to finish. See how we approach residential exterior house painting in Simi Valley, CA.

Paints & Products Used

The exterior was finished with one exterior product line from one paint maker.

Dunn-Edwards EVERSHIELD Exterior Paint. This coating resists fading and sun damage. That matters for a Simi Valley home, where the sun hits stucco, trim, and doors year-round.

A single exterior line keeps the finish consistent from wall to wall, which is the goal of any exterior stucco painting in Simi Valley, CA.
